About
We're looking for a Junior SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) Consultant to join our IT service delivery team. This role focuses on day-to-day operational support — resolving incident tickets related to invoice processing, workflow exceptions, and basic configuration issues within our SAP VIM environment.
Your responsibilities
- triage and resolve first-line VIM tickets: invoice capture errors, OCR mismatches, workflow routing failures, duplicate invoice flags, and approval-step issues
- monitor and clear stuck workflow items in the VIM approval chain, escalating complex cases to senior consultants when root-cause analysis is needed
- perform basic master data checks (vendor, PO, tax code) related to invoice exceptions
- document recurring issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base to reduce repeat tickets
- support incident resolution within agreed SLAs
- assist with regression testing during VIM patches, upgrades, or configuration changes
- communicate clearly with end users (AP team, requesters) on ticket status and resolution steps
What do we expect?
- 2 years of experience with SAP, ideally exposure to VIM, OpenText, or invoice/document management workflows
- basic understanding of SAP MM/FI processes, particularly Procure-to-Pay and invoice posting
- familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar) and working within SLA driven environments
- strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- good communication skills — comfortable explaining resolutions to non-technical end users
- fluent English
- nice to have: German language
